I studied and qualified as a Nutrition Consultant at The Institute for Optimum in 1992.
I became interested in Nutrition after I had gained 2 stone in weight and found it particularly difficult to shift. I tried numerous diets with no long lasting success. After being hospitalised for an operation and given 3 balanced meals a day over a 2 week period, I realised that the simplicity of eating 3 balanced meals a day is what had worked for me. In addition it helped me to realise that what you eat affects how you feel about yourself, your moods and your energy levels.
I have now trained as a zest4life motivational weight loss coach & what drives and inspires me most is to help people achieve their goals through education, motivation and encouraging clients to make long term lifestyle changes that are achievable and maintainable.
I enjoy following the principles of healthy eating and living myself and I feel confident and passionate in inspiring & motivating others with the knowledge and experience that it works!
