I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist based in York, working with clients from across Yorkshire and beyond. I qualified, following 3 years of training, with a foundation degree and diploma in nutritional therapy in 2006, from the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London, founded by Patrick Holford.
Since qualifying, I have been practising Nutritional Therapy, advising clients with a wide range of different health conditions. The most common being weight gain, food intolerance and food allergy, IBS and a range of gut problems, low energy (including chronic fatigue syndrome), mood and sleep problems, excess stress, and anxiety.
I am also an Optimum Energy Coach and have a particular interest in ‘mindfulness’, both generally and its therapeutic benefits when applied to food and nutrition.
My previous career entailed a first degree in education, a masters degree and a 20-year career in Health Service management, research and consultancy.
