As a health coach, my aim is to help you achieve exactly that and more! Whatever your health issue, it's likely that food choices are key to your healing. Weekly eating plans accompanied by healthy recipes are the foundation of how I can work with you to achieve your goals. There are no extreme or fad-diets, just good, healthy, balanced meals tailored to you. If needed, tests can be recommended or medicinal herbs prescribed.
What is recommended for you will depend on your current level of health and what you would like to achieve. How this is delivered is your choice. It could be in the setting of group classes, an online support group or private consultations. Whichever avenue you choose to walk down, delicious food, healing herbs, and better life habits will be a part of the prescription.
Changing habits of a lifetime is challenging, so my aim is to help make that challenge easier. I'm here to coach you through the difficulties you might face, empower you with knowledge while arming you with recipes, food plans and supplements where necessary. My hope is that you can make practical dietary improvements that can be maintained over a lifetime because you have fallen in love with the foods we have evolved to need!
My passion is our natural environment and how all aspects of the world around us influences all aspects of our health. This has led me to study nutritional and life style medicine from the ancient traditions of western herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.
I am a Medical Herbalist and a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) having completed my degree in 2006. Since then I have graduated from the college of Naturopathic Medicine as a qualified Nutritional Therapist. I have completed training with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) and a member of IFM. My training is important to me, I continuously update skills and knowledge. But, most importantly, I live what I have learned. I have overcome many of my own health challenges so what I impart to you is based on real experience, not just knowledge gained from a book or the latest health study.
