About the Event

Join us for this exclusive event with our special guest speaker Ben Brown, presenting for Pure Encapsulations.

Post viral chronic fatigue is a well-known phenomenon, and we may be seeing an increase in prevalence of virus-related chronic fatigue syndrome related to COVID-19. There is emerging science that could be informative, and our experience with post-viral chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) may have parallels that provide important insights and help inform clinical management.

Like post-viral CFS/ME, the pathophysiology of post-COVID-19 syndrome or ‘long-COVID’ is complex and vary from person to person, so personalised assessments could help identify areas of dysfunction unique to an individual and target interventions most likely to help them.

Learning objectives:

  • Review symptoms and laboratory parameters of long-COVID
  • Explore immune dysfunction of acute and chronic COVID-19
  • Cover evidence for clinical therapies in post-virial fatigue
