About the Event

Join us for this educational event with our special guest speaker, Dr Colette Reynolds.

While most of us know what to feed children, often the challenge is getting them to eat these foods.

Unfortunately, limited or selective eating can be quite common among children and has many wide-ranging effects including stressful mealtimes.

Dr Colette Reynolds is a psychologist, who founded Growing Healthy Eaters to help create happy, healthy eaters. Over the last 6 years she has successfully empowered many, with how we feed our children, particularly with reversing fussy eating.

The focus of this presentation is to provide some insights into how we feed our children; and in particular, how we can get children on board with a varied, balanced and nutritious diet. Dr Colette will give insights into common challenges she sees in her work and how they can be addressed. These challenges include: very frequent snacking, stressful mealtimes, being closed to new foods and children only wanting to eat their favourite foods.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of some poor habits that develop with children's eating and how we can  address them
  • Learn more about raising intuitive eaters and what a positive relationship with food looks like for children
  • Learn some strategies for dealing with fussy eating in children and how to prevent this from developing into a major challenge.

Dr Colette Reynolds (BA, MSc, PhD) has an educational background that is mainly in psychology, but also includes health promotion and nutrition. She is a proud mum to 2 boys, based on the west coast of Ireland. Over the last six years, she has empowered many people to create lifelong healthy eating habits for babies, toddlers, and children. This includes fostering a positive relationship with food among children and raising intuitive eaters. In particular, parents contact Colette every week, to get expert help online, to fast-track how  to reverse fussy eating. https://growinghealthyeaters.ie

A 10-minute Q&A will take place at the end of the webinar when you will have an opportunity to ask specific questions following the presentation.
